It seems like since I downloaded it, the computer takes longer to do everything =S

Yes, Get rid of this resource hog, not only does it slow down your computer while supposedly "Protecting" it, but the program is not high rated in detection / removal by av-comparitives . I know from personal experience as I work on many PC's
