I purchased a norton antivirus but it says i need service pack 2 how do i know if i have this?

Go to control panel and open the system folder. It should tell you right on the opening system description if you have service pack 2.

Go to control panel and doublke click System Icon.... under the General Tab look what's listed under the system... you should be able to see what OS, version and if there's any service pack installed......



if you do not have service pack 2 yet, download it from the microsoft website......

Most likely you do, but just in case, go to http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsu... and you can update your computer. If you need SP2 it'll let you know and update your computer.

the easiest and fastest way to know if you have a service pack 2 of your computer is to right click "My Computer"; then "Property". on General Tab it will display your system eg:
