Connect to internet and open your antivirus. Click "Run Live Update".

All I do is open up Norton. On the top left theres a box saying "live update" click on it. Thats all I ever have to do.
Click on the liveupdate button in Norton window
go to www.norton.com they have updates. But be sure to click on the one that says already got norton

and then click on update .. either for home purpose... or small business.. etc
