I still have exactly the same problem despite running all the clean up toolt that the nice mcaffee man sent me norton still says cannot load til you have removen mcaffee, how do you stop that annoying btsecurity box popping up every time you log on

call bt technical support on 0845 600 7030 and ask to be transferred to the norton team,

because this could be due to a lot of reasons and they have a expert team to sort them out
If u realy want to use your norton antivirus ,i sugest to reinstal your wind xp again and then instal and activate the norton antivirus
I suffered the exact same problem. The Symantec (some yank conglomerate that hocks Norton) people kept sending me complex pages of step by step methods to solve it. None of them worked.I had to pay 拢100 to a specialist to have my laptop rectified on top of the original cost. I asked Symantec for the money back. They refused and were very unhelpful. I will never purchase Norton products again, they are a con.
