I just scanned using Norton Antivirus...is this programme a pain is or is it a pain? AVG viz Norton?

And can I delete some of these unused files and folders? Thousands and thousands of them...Oh bring back Windows 98 please???xp is far too intuitive and I have lost the plot using it now. I used to love 98 as I felt I had more control if things went wrong.

Norton used to be best. Unfortunately they took something that was working great and tried to fix it. As they fixed it and added more and more to the base program it got worse and worse. Back 4 years ago it was always my choise and used it since win 3.1. It used to be very configurable.

Oh well between AVG and norton I would choose AVG. But Avast is better...

I still use Windows 98 and Norton.

Could not see the point of updating an OS that is actually working, although, admittedly, it is not wonderful.
