Where would the Norton antivirus I just downloaded be filed to?

I can't find it. i have Vista now and am VERY unfamiliar with everything. How can I find my download?

Where would the Norton antivirus I just downloaded be filed to?antispam

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firefox for free, Just have a try:

It would be wherever the computer is setup to download to... If you know the file name, search your computer and see.
Use the windows vista built search function to find it. Specify the file's name, date and other information to improve the chances of finding the file.

Look in your desktop, maybe it was saved there. Or in Mydocuments under your user profile, there should be a folder called "downloads" or something like that.
Hopefully it's in the trash bin where it belongs. Nortons is a system hog and will make your system run slow not to mention it likes to take over and block you from normal computer activities. It also embeds itself so deep in the registry that you will have to download and run a special removal tool just to uninstall it and get it off of your system.
