i had the same problem but i didnt buy norton i downloaded it. and y use norton it slows down ur pc and takes up alot of ram and hard disk space especially when ur updating it. use avg anti virus instead or antivir.
why use norton norton sucks it slows down your computer and if you cant figure out where the hardware code is at then you dont need to have a computer you can contact me and i will come by and pick up your computer
I think a hardware code is the number on the back of the box when you buy it
