How do I 100% uninstall norton antivirus?

It seems to live on on my machine!!

How do I 100% uninstall norton antivirus?ducati

Norton anti-virus is notoriously difficult to remove entirely from a computer, but then again, so is McAfee. Anti-virus programs are so integrated with the inner workings of your system that they put down roots everywhere, and, oftentimes, using the Windows' Add/Remove software feature doesn't completely clear out the problem.

Norton provides a stand-alone utility called Rnav2003.exe that more thoroughly removes several of the anti-virus products, but whether you can use it not depends on what version of Anti-virus you are trying to eliminate from your machine. For products AFTER Norton Anti-virus 2003, you should use another Norton utility called SymNRT.

For more information, see the link below. By the way, I've used these techniques to remove pesky Norton installations from several computers, and they have always worked for me. Good luck!

formatting is the only way to eradicate it
do a reformat
You have to go to Start,Control Panel, Remove Programs, then find Norton AntiVirus and click Change/Remove and follow the instructions. Glad to help :-)
It is the craziest antivirus software that plunges into my pc and never seem to go out.

So, the only way is I think to copy files from hard disk to tempo CDs and format hard disk.

And never allow that software until it improves in future.
I have had this problem myself. It seem in order to uninstall it you need the disc. Go to add remove programs then find norton, click remove then insert disc when it prompts you to. Hope this helps
you get spyware remover then it sees norton and has a huge battle. sometimes the spyware remover wins... sometimes it doesnt.
I don't know I would like to know to
In order to do that. You must have a PROGRAM CALLED "YOUR UNINSTALLER" to install Norton Antivirus 100%.
