Do you have that Norton icon in the system tray right next to the time on the bottom right corner of the screen? Just right click on the icon and click Disable Norton and it'll ask you for how long and just click 5 or 10 minutes.

You should just be able to click on the icon in the right hand corner of your screen. right click on it and select disable norton antivirus.
Try right clicking the icon in the lower right of you screen to pause services.
right click on the nortons icon in the system tray ( lower right hand side of the screen) then click security or something of that sort. Disable it for like 10 minutes or so, it should kick in after the time set.
You could try going to Start then Run. Now type in 'msconfig' without the quotes. Open the Startup Tab. Scroll down the list and untick anything relating to Norton or Symantec. Now click apply, click ok. Re-boot your computer. Eventually when your computer boots you will be presented with a new pop-up window - tick do not show again. Install your game - now repeat the above but tick to turn on Norton. Good luck

Right click on the tray icon (usuall bottom right near your system time etc.)

Click on "Disable AntiVirus Auto-protect"
