The odds of you owning a live panda are only slightly higher than those of your getting struck by lighting or hit by a car, because unless you are Chinese and live in the mountains of that country, then you only own a stuffed bear. The Chinese government closely regulates where their pandas get sent to, because these animals are considered to be national treasures to them. Even the pandas which are here in the USA are only here on LOAN- they belong to the Chinese government and people. To get a live panda, you would have to be licensed, and affiliated with one of the 2 or 3 major zoos where they reside- which is unlikely in your case.
