Syrian Hamsters (also known as Pandas, Black Bears, Goldens, Honeys, Teddy Bears, etc.) are available at pet stores. Although, a pet store isn't the best place to get a pet, they're usually readily available.

You may want to consider checking out your local classifieds to see if anyone is giving a hamster away, or check out http://www.petfinder.com for hamsters in your area. Just fill out the stuff on the left hand side. Choose small and furry, then put your zip code in. Click on "see all" next to breeds and click on hamster. It'll show you hamsters in your area that are in shelters.

They are called Black Belly hamsters. Usually found petstores nationwide these hamsters make excellent pets. You could find one at a a petco, a petsmart, or a chowhound. Usually balck bear hamsters are the ones to have the panda design, though it is a rare trait. Hope you find one.
i got mine at petsmart they also have them at petco or local petstore if there is one
Yup, I got one at PetSmart like a month ago. Adorable!

This is the normal black bear hamster that rarely can have a panda pattern. Good luck finding one. However, if you want a healthy pet, do not buy from petco or petsmart. Finda a local private pet store. Every rodent I have bought from them is sick and dies within 1 month or less. The private pet store we found is a 2 hour drive, but all pets we bought from there are very healthy and live for a long time.

i got mine at petco or petsmart..i would get the on that dosent bite u..i had one for 2 yrs and he was great.....[R.I.P panda!]
