If you have a legal copy of it it should be on the cover of the cd, otherwise you have an illegal copy. Since this is a licenced and patented product, your product key is delivered with the disk.

First Answer: Take it back to the store with your receipt of purchase. Tell them no serial was provided and you could not use the product, so you would like another copy. It happens occasionaly.
