How do you disable norton antivirus or any other anti-virus?

When ever any anti virus runs in your computer you would find a small Icon in the TASKBAR. If you can locate the anti virus icon at the right most part of the taskbar and right click on that then you can find options to disable.

If the above doesn't work, then try click on start --%26gt; Run ; and type command "msconfig" , you will get a System configuration utility and go to startup tab and deselect the anti virus. But please be careful using this option.

An easy and fast way to turn it off

just right click on it and click on Disable or turn off

which over it says...that is if it shows on the bottom right of your panel...

and if you want to delete it go to control panel, add remove programs then look for norton and Remove:)
un-install it if you don't need it
THere should be the option to turn it off if u click on the icon on ur task bar or desktop icon or wherever u put the icon.
If you are using a home computer (as opposed to a work computer that may not allow it...) you can right-click on the icon in the tray (lower right - near the clock) and either disable it there or go into the properties and disable it.

This is an extremely bad idea and I do not know what you are thinking or trying to do that you would want to disable it.
