Why do you pay for a crap like Norton? If you do want to buy an anti-virus, get Kaspersky or BitDefender, not that stinking Norton!! But, you probably don't know there are free(by free, I mean free) anti-viruses available which are much better than Norton. Try either AVG or AOL Active Virus Shield:
AVG (8.5): http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F...
AOL Active Virus Shield (8.5):http://www.activevirusshield.com/antivir...
Read these tips:
1.Never use more than one anti-virus or firewall. There is a good possibility that they will fight each other. So, keep EITHER Norton OR AVG OR AOL OR anything else you wish. However, you can use as many anti-spywares as you wish.
2.Always keep the real time scanning/resident shield of your anti-virus and any one of your anti-spyware active, especially while downloading something from file sharing networks.
3.Keep all your security software updated, and scan your computer for spyware every 1 week and for viruses every 2 weeks.
Do i have to purchace norton antivirus now before the 30 day trial, I don't want to uninstall my other.?microsoft
Depends on which version of Norton you have. If you're an avid supporter of piracy like I am, and have Norton 2005 or 2006, it would be no problem to procure the available keygen... you could thus authorize your product for a year. (Renew it by reinstalling the application after 1 yr.) You can mail me for the keygen... It's a bit of a problem if you've got Norton 2007, the keygen has been overused and is no longer working properly... (the one available in the net). Perhaps you could detail your question a bit?

NORTON IS ONE OF THE WORST ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAMS OUTTHERE.... GO TO http://www.free-av.com the Avira Antivir Antivirus is one of the best i've used, it takes nearly no resources from your computer to run (UNLIKE NORTON THAT KILLS YOUR COMPUTER) and it's one of the most effective on the market (DID I MENTION IT'S FREE for personal use, they do however charge for corporate version or premium version, but the free is PERFECT)
