My Norton Antivirus "says" my subscription expired.....?

But I clearly remember that the expiration date was August 12th, 2006. And it is still July 1st, 2006.

Get rid of it, and download AVG

look in norton to find the dates of your subscription, then find your original email stating thanks for registering if you have it then contact www.symantec.com for advice.

then instead of renewing with symantec go to www.trendmicro.com and download pc-cillin internet security suite. this is easier and better to use than norton speaking from experiance.

AVG and some of the other so called freeware antivirus programs often contain spam and other mallware that they claim to defend against.

you may also enhance security with windows defender from www.microsoft.com
Check that the date on your computer clock is correct.
This may seem obvious, but there is no way around it, you will have to contact Norton to clear up the problem. Otherwise, according to the software its expired and probably no longer updating and protecting your system.

Open a support ticket, tell them when you believe you registered the software and they should be able to confirm and correct your account as needed. Nobody here is going to have an answer for you other than "Contact Norton".
