Check to see if your version is supported by Windows Vista.
If not try another antivirus or update the one you have.
I like AVG from Grisoft its free.

Ughhh. Why are so many people dying to get ahold of Vista? You're only asking for trouble.
It is a good thing that you can't get Norton to load...it is crap software anyway and just bogs down your machine. You will be doing yourself a favor by leaving it off. Go get the free version AVG...it works great and takes up very little resources. Sell your Norton on eBay.
