Honestly? I wouldn't waste my money. There are free solutions out there that are at least as good (if not better):
Here is one you can run online for free if you don't want to install anything:
[TrendMicro] http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Here is a free one you can install and run locally:
[AVG] http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1
If you insist on spending money with Norton, just try to run an update. When you try to update it will prompt you with renewal instructions.
My Norton antivirus 2003 subscription has expired and I don't know how to renew it.?free anti virus
Just go to symantec.com
You will have to upgrade to the latest whatever it is
by the way- Norton antivirus althought popular is a very poor choice
It is there only to reasure
it is the antivirus program that virus writers write viruses to turn off and disable ( and you will not even know that it has been turned off)
It is not even a good antivirus program on updates ( due to its name popularity support for new viruses has lessened)
It will slow your computer to a crawl
There are not shortage of recommended antvirus programs
- pccillin
- nod32
The free version of avg is more than acceptable
I inherited a virus one weekend from a computer I was working on . Nothing got rid of the final components ( which would reinfect the computer)
not kaspersky
- not norton for sure
- not anything but avg
I was very surprised
