AVG is much better. It slows ur computer to a crawl because it uses computer resources (memory). id recommend that you just leave it on one night a week while it scans.

I haven';t allowed anything by Norton on my machines since Symantec bought it..
I do have to repair machines infected with Norton on a regular basis.
http://free.grisoft.com has a good and free antivirus software that I use myself, on over a dozen computers.

As mentioned already, Norton like some others has a very large footprint and slows the works down.
Nod 32 is one of the best it costs around 拢27.00 to download to one workstation.......Take a look at this site.
